What this site is
TB-500 Reviews is an independent editorial project that publishes graded summaries of the peer-reviewed research literature on TB-500, the synthetic Ac-LKKTETQ fragment of thymosin beta-4. We are not a clinic. We do not employ clinicians and we do not provide medical advice. We do not manufacture, sell, or distribute any product. Our work is editorial commentary on publicly available science.
The "Reviews" in the name is the point of the project, read as a fiduciary obligation rather than a star rating. The word that the compound's reputation leans on — "reviews" — usually means forum anecdote and testimonial. This site does the opposite: it grades each claim against the published record, marks what is verified, what is preclinical only, and what has no human data for the fragment, and links the citation that backs each verdict.
How we read the record
Three editorial commitments shape every page. First, the headline finding leads, and the attribution follows — a measured result is stated, then sourced. Second, the central identity caveat is never buried: TB-500 is the ~889 Da seven-mer, while most efficacy data are on the ~4963 Da full-length thymosin beta-4 parent protein, and we flag that distinction wherever a finding rests on the protein. Third, the honest gaps are first-class content — the absence of a completed controlled human trial of the fragment, the null mdx strength result, and the non-monotonic stroke dose-response are reported as plainly as the positive findings.
The regulatory and detection facts are held to the same standard. The FDA 503A status and the WADA-prohibited status are cited to authoritative pages and stated in the present tense; no future regulatory outcome is asserted as a certainty.
What the name does and does not claim
"Reviews" in the site name is editorial framing — the position this publisher occupies relative to the literature, as a grader of evidence. It is not a claim that the site offers product reviews, consultations, treatment, or any service. We hold no inventory, take no orders, and recommend no human use. Every quantitative figure on the site is described as what was studied in a named species or trial, never as guidance for a person. If a claim does not appear in the published literature, it does not appear here.
